Track WordPress changes and user activity on all sites of your WordPress Multisite network with the new version of WP Security Audit Log plugin.
The new WordPress tracking and audit plugin WP Security Audit Log is the first plugin of its kind to allow WordPress super administrators to monitor all activity on a WordPress Multisite network installation. It also allows the administrators of each site to monitor the activity of the site they administer.
Why Monitor Activity of a WordPress Multisite Network?
Most WordPress multisite networks have hundreds, if not thousands of users constantly logging in and out, modifying content and widgets, resetting passwords and more. Administrators on WordPress multisite installations are also frequently changing WordPress user roles, allowing or denying specific privileges and assisting other WordPress users.
Since the security of a WordPress multisite network is only as strong as the weakest password of a WordPress user, the best way to prevent a hack attack from happening on a WordPress multisite network installation is to monitor all of the WordPress users activity and identify any issues before they become a problem.
Version 0.6 of WP Security Audit Log is the first and only plugin to date that allows WordPress super administrators to monitor all user and under the hood activity of all sites on a WordPress multisite network installation.
Monitoring Activity of a WordPress Multisite Network
WP Security Audit Log plugin will issue the below WordPress security alerts so administrators are notified when:
- Alert 4008: User is granted super admin privileges (network)
- Alert 4009: Super admin privileges (network) are revoked from a user
- Alert 4010: Added an existing user to a site and assigned a specific role
- Alert 4011: Removed user with a specific role from a site
- Alert 4012: New user created on the network
- Alert 7000: Added a new site to network
