By default the WP Security Audit Log plugin displays the First and Last name of the user for which it recorded the change in the audit log, as shown in the below screenshot.
In some cases the user might not have a first and last name configured, so nothing is shown. Or maybe you prefer to display the username. In such case you can configure the plugin to show the username instead of the First and Last name, or vice versa from the plugin settings, as explained in the procedure below.
- Click on the Settings node in the plugin menu.
- Click on the Audit Log tab.
- Select either Username or First Name & Last Name from the User Information in Audit Log setting, which is shown in the below screenshot.
Once you change the setting to Username, the plugin will display the username in the WordPress audit trail records, as shown in the below screenshot.
