When WP Security Audit Log WordPress Plugin is installed on a WordPress multisite network, the following lists of features are enabled.

WordPress Multisite Network Super Admin Privileges

By default super administrators on the WordPress multisite network installation can access all the WordPress security alerts of all sites on the network when using the Audit Log viewer. For more information about the WordPress security alerts that WP Security Audit Log generates refer to the List of WordPress Security Alerts.

The Site Selection Drop Down Menu

Super administrators can use the site drop down menu to filter the security alerts per site on the WordPress multisite network. As per the example in the screenshot below the multisite network super administrator is selecting Site2 from the site selection drop down menu to filter the security alerts.

Once the site is selected from the Site drop down menu, the security alerts are filtered and the super administrator can see the WordPress security alerts for the chosen site as per the below screenshot.

The Site Selection Auto Complete Search

If there are more than 15 sites in a WordPress multisite installation the Site Selection drop down menu is replaced with an auto complete Site Selection Auto Complete Search box as shown in the below screenshot.

Configuring the Plugin in a Multisite Network

WordPress users which have super administrator role in a WordPress multisite network installation are the only WordPress users who can enable or disable alerts and configure the retention / pruning period of the WordPress security alerts.

Allowing Other WordPress Users to Manage the Plugin

Super administrators can allow specific users or roles to configure the plugin by adding them in the “Can Manage Plugin” section in the plugin settings page.

Allowing Other WordPress Users to View All Security Alerts

Super administrators can allow specific users or roles to view all security alerts of the WordPress multisite network installation by adding them in the “Can View Security Alerts” section in the plugin settings page.

WordPress Multisite Network Single Site Administrator Privileges

WordPress multisite network users which have administrator privileges on a specific site or sites can view the WordPress security alerts of their site via the Audit Log Viewer as seen in the below screenshot.

Administrators of a single site can only view the security alerts and do not have access to the plugin configuration.

Single site administrators cannot activate or deactivate WP Security Audit Log plugin for their site to ensure that all activity is logged.
